ROS HARWOOD THERAPY
My professional background
Before training as a therapist, I worked in the performing arts. I trained as an actress and singer and hold a Diploma in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music.
I later spent eighteen years teaching drama to children and young people in schools and workshop settings across the South West. This creative background continues to inform my therapeutic work with young people and often supports them in expressing themselves when words feel difficult to find.
Sometimes, the words we need simply aren't there.
Whether you are a parent seeking support for a child who is struggling, or an adult looking for a deeper way to understand yourself, I offer a warm, creative space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface.
I can help you with:
Specialised therapy for children and teenagers, using the arts to bridge the gap between feelings and words.
Deep, transformational work using Internal Family Systems (IFS) to find clarity and healing.
